President George W. Bush ... lying America into the Iraq War

I'm a tea-party conservative and I think he did.

Well that means that Hillary Clinton, Kerry, McCain, and most of the leaders of the Western World were liars too.

They were relying on the best available intelligence, as it was at the time. And it was shortly after 9-11. A different time. A different set of insecurities.

Anyhow, I was thrilled to see that old bass turd yanked out of his hole, tried and hanged. And his two wacky sons done away with in a firefight. Fine with me. Any sponsor of terrrorism deserves death.

Explain in detail, quoting lies he (Bush) uttered in leading up to the Congress voting to take out Hussein.

Please refresh your memory with the exact meaning of a lie and what it is that constitutes one before replying.

Either one or the other is true. I really doubt that both are true. No one but a poser would feel the need to claim tea party status before claiming Bush lied. Only a leftist with blind hatred would ignore all the other leftists with years of saying the SAME thing turn around and claim Bush is the only one who lied.

I think plenty of reasonable folks are today in hindsight maybe conflicted or ambivalent about Iraq....it's a decent argument about was it worth it or where did all the WMDs go?

Syria...who knows?

Yes...I think Bush had a personal honor vendetta on Saddam...can't say I blame him.

But did he and Blair and others concoct his whole war for political gain...no...not to me anyhow.

But as is human nature they may have followed intel where they wanted it lead rather than where they did not.

I sure don't see it as a big conspiracy.

For me the real defeat of the War of Terror is our inability to define the enemy for whom it is....Islam and failure to be realistic about the followers and instead to just ignore realities that defy the new PC logic concerning anyone not considered white....were most Islamists Afrikaaners we would give no such political quarter.

That is the big failure and in time we will rue our weakness.

TSA patdowns, civilian trials, calling Islam a religion of peace when it is anything but and calling terrorism man-made disasters and refusing to call it Islamic terrorism are all signs we are weak as runny butter.
