In this case, ODH, the Army may easily punt to the State of Texas. They can take care of him, pronto rather than later.

I would not at all be surprised to see this happen, at least for the civilians (I believe there were 4 or 5 civilians). Even if things go really well, Hasan wouldn't be executed in the military system for another 20-years. Texas could do it a week from next Thursday.
