I would hope it never comes to violence, but when I see the riots in Europe......
Unfortunately, I see this coming. There are a tremendous amount of people out there with a dangerous sense of entitlement.
To conservatives, the idea of armed overthrow of the government is nigh on unthinkable.

Happens all the time. Usually over taxes or some other form of confiscation or oppression.
The delusion on the left is that it would necessarily inure to their benefit.
It has already arrived. There were violent protests in San Francisco by students over tutition hikes for UC San Francisco.

This is out of the handbooks; get the students to begin the protests. We had better be ready to counter this with peaceful protests in response so that we are not ignored. We didn’t allow them to do this with our military this time, or we would have had another era of ‘vietnam type protest’ where only one side is heard.
I have no problem with an increase in tuition at Universities. I actually think that there should be cuts in things like monetary support for clubs, for conferences, for ‘teacher special training’ at out of state meetings etc., etc.

Of course the left will bring the violence. Unlike in Europe, though, we peace loving patriots are well armed. And well practiced with our arms. We don’t want violence, but we do things like go to the shooting range and get upset if our grouping at 200 yards is over 2 inches.
As far as close quarters goes, I’m not the only conservative I know who has studied - and still practices with - steel. From 3” to 3’ of steel. Being prepared is different from wanting to have to go to the mat, though.
IOW, we won’t bring the violence. Last thing we want. They will. But when they do, we’ll END IT.
BTW, to elaborate: To become truly proficient with arms requires discipline, study, self-knowledge, and work. All of those are antethical to the left, but instinctive to the right. Ergo, unless the population has been disarmed, violence is a losing proposition for the left. However, they can’t see that, so they will still try. Why? Because it usually works after they have sufficiently degraded a society. Not the case here - we still have an enforced right to arms. Thank Roberts, Alito, Scalia, Thomas, and yes, Kennedy (the Justice) for that - and GW for his SCOTUS picks...
The left is and has always agitated to shed blood. Remember what the A.N.S.W.E.R. crowd attempted to set in motion after 9/11. There are some really sick and twisted people in this world and some of them with the aid of public airwaves got elected.
This most recent bunch of elected thugs have done their very best to bait the civilized amongst US to drawing first blood.... All those empty promises of cars, houses and utopia have not been fulfilled. Now those evil, selfish, and rich republicans control the power of the political purse...
Wonder is this why BamBamKennedy has saved all that stimulus cash he borrowed from US? Did he foresee a need to have cash stashed when his power grab was rejected by the people? Was this up front treasury looting done to fund himself, his own private political army?

“To become truly proficient with arms requires discipline, study, self-knowledge, and work”; my wife and I are studying on that and to pass along a tip, we discovered that our local gun range has all sorts of classes and instructors to teach the proper use of firearms; it isn’t free, most classes come in at about $200.00; but for that amount we can become “members” and then get a discount on the classes. It’s been extremely helpful. Just an “FYI”.
I’m not quite that old, but I have been predicting it since 1980, and upon looking back, I am convinced it started with FDRs dictatorial power grab and the entitlement society he pushed for.
The left will do whatever it takes to establish a marxist paradise. They have no principles. There is nothing they won’t do. They don’t think like normal people, who have limits to what they would do.

The fat boys in SEIU tried to disrupt a tea party here. They were confronted and retreated into a building. They got really scared when the crowd started chanting “USA!” They were crying and begging the cops to rescue them. The cops arrived and escorted the babies away from the mean tea party patriots.
It was all quite amusing. Even the cops were laughing.
If the leftist vermin ever resorted to widespread violence, we could easily defeat them in 4-6 years.
The problem is that they will not need to do this. As long as they have access to our finances, they can just spend and tax us into submission. What can we do to stop them? Many of us are too poor to buy silver and gold!
Not only can they make us poor at a whim, they have unlimited resources to brainwash any children who are not raised by the most exceptional parents and let out into public grade schools and the universities.
The evil power of the Marxists and the Muslims is about to obtain lasting dominance forever.
Ya have to wonder who they expect to do the fighting.
We like guns. Lots of us have served in the military. The Left likes to disarm people and despises the military.
Are the thugs of SEIU and other Unions good enough for them, or do they have something worse waiting?
