The winning hand of eligibility issue
WND ^ | NOVEMBER 21, 2010 | Joseph Farah

Posted on 11/22/2010 12:28:29 AM PST by RobinMasters

The campaign to determine, once and for all, with certainty, whether Barack Obama is constitutionally eligible to serve as president is nearing victory.

As a proud "ringleader" of this effort, I have frankly and candidly offered grave doubts that this issue would ever be settled by the courts. I think those who have pushed resolution in the courts are brave and commendable for their efforts. But, as I have said countless times, there is no judge in America who is ever going to rule the sitting "president" ineligible. It's just not going to happen. The judiciary is, like it or not, a political institution.

But as the court of public opinion on this constitutional question has shifted dramatically over the last year, with some 58 percent of Americans voicing skepticism about Obama's eligibility, resolution is no longer a long shot. It is in sight. It is at hand.

Last spring I predicted, for the first time, just how this controversy would be resolved with finality.

I explained that in 2011 one or more state legislatures would approve bills requiring future presidential candidates to demonstrate their constitutional eligibility as "natural born citizens" before getting on the ballot.

One such measure passed the House in Arizona earlier this year, but the legislative session ended before the matter could be brought to the Senate.

Another similar bill was introduced in the Georgia Legislature too late to get a vote.

Any sitting prez or any 'rat prez?

Besides it's barry birth status that rules he's ineligible - no man can make him illegible.

If I were a judge in America, I would love to prove the author wrong.

I tell you all this because this is about to become one of the biggest political stories of our time – and nobody sees it coming. Remember where you heard it first.

Yup, here. Remember back in the day when I was an LGF lizard and the “throbbing memo” story broke discrediting Rather and his hit piece on GW’s National Guard service. Thought I had a home there. C Johnson proved me wrong.

Jaded as I am, I have faith in Mr. Robinson. This place will endure as a beacon of truth and dare I say it hope...

None of the bills should be considered birther bills. No one checks the eligibility of Presidential candidates, and this is the remedy. A consequence will be that Obama drops out before he shows his original long form birth certificate. So be it...

... some 58 percent of Americans voicing skepticism about Obama's eligibility, ...

LOL, so what? For decades every poll has had between 75% and 90% of the public in favor of Nativity scenes on public property, prayer in schools, and the Ten Commandments posted in courts. Telling me that a majority of the public supports or believes something is just another example of facing into the wind and relieving oneself that is typical of the conservatives for the past four decades.

Unless and until there are judges impeached and replaced with those who believe in the Constitution, and unless and until many, many, existing laws are repealed, there's no way it matters that "the public" wants or believes something. It just doesn't matter unless you have the Constitution as the basis of our nation and you have people who will fight through the courts, in the streets, and every other way to return us to the Constitutional Republic we were founded as.

Oh, joy, public opinion is changing but Barry still sits in the cat bird seat and slaps the public and the Constitution down every day. I could care less whether he should have ever been on the ballot or not now that it's obvious a large percentage of the population intends to shed the Constitution because it inhibits their "progressive" vision. Ridding ourselves of Barry at this point isn't going to win the battle much less slow down the fascists who put him on their ticket and rode their media mare to victory.

Regard

I like this strategy, but I don’t agree that Obama will just simply give up and not run for re-election if just one state passes this and their gov signs it into law.

The minute any law like this is signed, they will be in court fighting it all the way. They will also unleash their smear machine on whatever state does this, as they did with AZ and their immigration law this year.

Still, it’s got a chance to succeed if the case gets to the Supreme Court. Could be that Anthony Kennedy is the deciding vote. Would true justice if the SCOTUS upholds a law like this and shoots down Obama’s re-election after Obama dissed them at the State of the Union Address this year.

If Arizona has any cojones then this is the ideal way to retaliate against Obongo. Make all Presidential candidates present certified long form birth certificates or you don’t get on the ballot. Heck, you could make it so all candidates in Arizona have to present their long form

You heard it first, maybe on FR but via WND. Nobody wants to talk about this. I like Farah’s last teaser line in his commentary. What are they all going to do when the truth comes out about this joker. Foxnews is one of the biggest culperates in this conspiracy to collapse America by not reporting any of the truths behind this joker. They all have America’s blood on their hands and they should pay for what they have done. Farah is right, to me and many others, that there are a lot of signs on the wall that the cracks are starting to get bigger and many “insiders” are starting to come out say certain things that would have you believe that the “something” is out there.

Farah was right: Ann Coulter shouldn’t have spoken at the homosexual convention. And Ann was right: Farah should give up the birther stuff. It’s a loser.

" The minute any law like this is signed, they will be in court fighting it all the way. They will also unleash their smear machine on whatever state does this, as they did with AZ and their immigration law this year. "

This time, the American public won't buy it, the race card is wearing thin these days.
If more than one state does this, their cries of racism, or whatever they will say will be viewed as pathetic.

I suggest that when the opposition has a someone in place who recruits for us we leave them alone and work on getting the recruits up to speed. I suggest that we fight to remove or flip members of Congress especially the Senate. I suggest we go after what can restrain the guy like his list of czars and his allies in and out of office.

That’s not rolling over and you damn well know the difference.

I don't think Eric Holder and this Administration has it in them to fight multiple states passing these laws on this after the shellacking they got in the November election and all of the scandals and controversies going on concerning this administration.
They will look so foolish trying to fight 5 or 7 states that pass the eligibility laws..... because ? it will only be a admission on their part that Obama is not eligible.
