Security protest could disrupt Thanksgiving travel

Another participating organization called "We Won't Fly" features a blurb at the top of its website that says, "Jam TSA checkpoints by opting out until they remove the porno-scanners."

Organizer James Babb of Eagleville, Pa., agreed many travelers would see the pat-down as equally intrusive or more so. But he's still recommending the pat-down because, he says, it would create more disruption and send a stronger message.

"They won't have the manpower to reach into everyone's crotch," he said.

Let's end BO's TSA Insanity on National Opt Out Day 11-24-10. TSA doesn't have the "have the manpower to reach into everyone's crotch."

I am sorry, but if we take much more of this we are done! Do we keep smiling on the way to our demise and telling ourselves “the government would never do that”? Scary times and we are looking at a take over of our rights and freedoms...

Last time i checked protests were supposed to be disruptive. If they aren’t disruptive they don't work. If you make life miserable for the TSA goon squads, even if it is only through ridicule and delays, then this policy will come apart.

If there isn’t a backlash to this at the airport,
look for it to start occurring wherever people gather.

The TSA pat down, brought to you by the same people who think the Patriot Act was too draconian, that military trials of terrorists were a violation of American values, and that the water boarding 3 Al Qaeda terrorists was the end of democracy.

Hey, Saturday Night Live. If you are lurking, here is a great skit idea. The Sports Illustrated swimsuit models are flying commercial to a shoot somewhere. Enter a couple of sleazy TSA gropers who are convinced that they are wired. Take it from there........

Twisted and incompetent. Israel NEVER loses a plane and people move through the lines at Tel Aviv quickly. Why? Because they profile and have expert interrogators and spotters who are trained for this (any doubts are resolved in the suspect not flying). This is perhaps the second worst solution (unhealthy doses of radiation being the worst). Each incompetent system that is put in place by this administration creates more Tea Party voters, and since everyone is exposed to this, watch the wave continue to swell.

This is tooo funny:

Even if someone in a security line becomes frustrated and decides not to fly, TSA rules require they submit to a scan or pat-down. If people were allowed to walk out, the agency says, would-be terrorists would have an easy escape.

So you can't walk away and decide not to fly because you might be a terrorist who's decided they'd get caught and are giving up. Well isn't that the point?

As Eagle of Liberty has pointed out on another thread, the Obama administration is suing Arizona because that state wants to check IDs to find illegal immigrants. ID-checking (like they do at my local liquor store) is intrusive and unConstitutional. But the Obama administration thinks that intrusive pat downs at the airport is A-OK.

The Left gets everything precisely backwards. Not by accident. On purpose -- because the Left is serving Satan.

Rufusal to go through the radiation machine is not difficult.

The TSA person simply calls over another TSA for a pat down check. Just make sure to put your wallet INSIDE something and watch your stuff.

again, they are pretty professional about passengers rejecting the radiation machines.

Disruptive protests are always appropriate when basic rights are being violated. Don’t compare Alinsky’s mindset to this fight.

Ooops, my bad! I didn’t catch the sarcasm. I’ve been a little shaky on catching sarcasm since obama came to office. Sometimes I read a news story and think: This can’t be true. Then I find out it is! Somebody at FR wrote that it’s like we’ve gone down Alice’s rabbit hole. I couldn’t agree more.

Not all TSA are goons. But there are reports that many do not like this policy -- a disruption like this could be very effective.

"Security protest could disrupt Thanksgiving travel"

Isn't that what it is meant to do? Are the terrorists winning? Janet Napolitano is not being straight with America..........
