In light of the TSA's new body scans and other outrageous violations of our freedom and liberty I thought everyone would enjoy this parody.

The purpose is not merely to search for weapons and drugs, but to humiliate the prisoner by removing his socializing attributes in order to destroy his identity and make him more easily governed. These are the tactics the state is now using against ordinary citizens. It is no accident that the TSA requires subjects to lift their arms in the surrender position while in the radiation scanner.”

While I don’t mind the SS reference, I think this does a dis-service to Barney Fife because he didn’t have a malevolent bone in his body.
Barney Fife is an example of someone that is industrious but stupid and such people who are given real power can do terrible harm. In the tw show Barney was restained by wise Andy Taylor but just think what a Barney type would have been like as a gestapo agent brainwashed to believe they are actually doing good by destroying the lives of others. Such people are what allow the Hitlers of the world to carry out their evil agendas.

You know, at least the SS guards at the camps had the implicit or explicit threat of being shot or shipped off to the Russian Front on which to base their choice to do the bidding of the malignant Nazi machine. What’s the excuse that the TSA apes are using?
