Remember Barack Obama in 2008? The guy who refused to go along with a "dumb war" and said, "In the unlikely story that is America, there has never been anything false about hope."
I miss that guy. Imagine if someone told you in 2008 that Barack Obama was actually thinking about signing legislation to extend the Bush tax giveaways for the rich.1 I wouldn't have believed it.
Now more than ever, we need the Barack Obama we elected in 2008—the smart, tough, hopeful progressive champion who inspired millions of us—to stand up and say "no" to a millionaire bailout.
Right now, with the change we all fought for hanging in the balance, President Obama needs to hear from those of us who supported him the most.
So we're asking MoveOn members nationwide to record a video message from the heart to tell President Obama to go to the mat to stop any extension of the millionaire tax giveaways—and to bring back the progressive fighter we all knew and supported in 2008.

They keep saying tax cuts for the rich. Do any poor people actually pay Federal taxes? Last I checked about 50% of Americans pay nothing in Federal taxes.
Since I pay taxes, I must be rich. Bring on the tax cuts! Woohoo!!!
I just wonder if the Nobel people are going to take away Obama's peace prize since their boy can't get the START treaty enacted. Otherwise why in heck did he get the prize again?

My fantasy dream is that Obama is impeached, removed from office, tried for fraud in presenting himself as a “natural born citizen”, found guilty, and sent to Ft. Leavenworth for the rest of his life. The first President in History to have his Secret Service Bodyguard there in a prison cell to protect him from Bubba.
Until the tiumeframe for Secret Service Protection runs out.
Hopefully before his sentence expires.

All we would see is a commercial break or a "technical difficulty" followed by a written transcript of all the wonderful things he said.
I don’t think he can be impeached for fraud in the matter of his eligibility because he isn’t the president if he got there illegally. Maybe it is a matter for the FBI or the DC police to simply arrest him and get him tried and then imprisoned.
