Al Jazeeras (OpenLineTV) has some repeating images streaming in English.

They said over 200 shells have landed, it may be continuing. They are getting some information on this.

ROK lack of a forceful response to their warship being sunk has led to this.

From what I’ve heard about South Korean Marines the North picked the wrong people to mess with.

What caused this all of a sudden? Evidently The Kenyan and South Korea reached an agreement N. Korea didn't agree with:

Seoul Eyes Fresh Deployment of U.S. Nukes

"Seoul will consider the deployment of U.S. tactical nuclear weapons in South Korea in response to North Korea's unveiling of a uranium enrichment facility, Defense Minister Kim Tae-young said Monday. The U.S. withdrew its weapons from South Korea in 1991."

South Korea believes it was in response to a military exercise they’re conducting jointly with the U.S. which includes 70,000 S. Korean troops.

The “200” in that screen grab is in reference to the number of shells fired by North Korea.

Has China ever publicly stated why they have no desire to reign in the North Koreans?
