My Father worked for Brown & Root in Nigeria in the 80’s. He was regularly arrested but for the purposes of soliciting a bribe. Eventually he started carrying a large book, and when they took him to the station, he would settle down to read. Once they realized there would be no bribe, after 2 or 3 hours, they let him go. Sounds like we are headed down that road. Enjoy the Dark Ages America!
