I am a college teacher and have been for a very long time. Campus incidents resolvable by concealed carry is a rare as a UT-Whitman incident. Unless you are sending your offsping to an inner-city trade school, they should be fine in terms of confronting any situation that might otherwise require packing heat. I would be more concered about the influence of a decadent social life...something about which a firearm can do little.
