“offered no resistance” Very funny. I doubt that I would either considering that just about every IDF soldier operating in Jerusalem carries an AK-47. From what I saw on my visit, nobody messes with the IDF.

They carry M-16s,
Tavors,
or Galils (largely phased out, but these do resemble AK-47s).
