Actually, I agree with Mathews to some extent. Even so, it is fair play, they want to continuously take cheap shots at us, we’ll hit them back, and HARD.
I’ve thought about TSA, the only other option that they really have, assuming that the X-Ray scanners really work, is the Russian approach. If you don’t like the scanners, then find another way to get where you’re going. Russia has at least as much terrorism to deal with, and they’re sold on the scanners.
Having said that, I absolutely LOVE watching this administration SWEAT, big-time, while trying to do their job. It is a blast.
By this time, if they were serious, they would have trained up a bunch of explosive-sniffing dogs. It would beat hell out of TSA bullies and be more sensitive as well. The fact they have not done this is evidence they know that this is all a charade— a “ritual” of safety to lull the nervous flier into a state of compliance but which is only sound and fury signifying nothing.
