Might as well park the carrier at the berth and shut it down with 0 rolling over as China’s lapdog.

Anyone who thinks what is going on in Korea is not approved or even arranged by the chicoms has another thought coming.

The Korean War never ended, there is a truce or ceasefire that has been in effect since 53, nothing more. The Korean War was won by the US led UN forces UNTIL the chicoms attacked across the Chinese boarder and almost turned the “police action” into a rout. In effect, it ended in what was almost trench style stalemate warfare from WW1.

Truman should have used MacArthur’s idea of the us backing Chang’s army in an effort to take back main land China from Mao’s Commies. Anyway, that is all ancient history now except for the fact China tacitly calls the shots in N Korea. Chinese and Russian squabbling has been reduced, mostly by Putin, so the Chinese are free to stick the US in the eye whenever they want citing we have no interest in Eastern Asia ascerting Korea as a sphere of their influence. Japan should take notice of these events as their future is somewhat intermingled here too as is Vietnam’s.
(o)bama with his naive pacifist notions will crank up the teleprompter and probably restate the mission of the aircraft carriers. Quite a bit different than when the chicoms made some posturing about a fleet move between Taiwan and China wherein China said don’t do it and we said FU, it is the open seas and we intend to use them which I believe happened under Bush II. Maybe they should confir with Quafafi about freedom of the seas and naval passages.
