Another piece of the puzzle?
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Was that back when Obama said he started smoking pot and snorting cocaine?

Sounds like another piece of the puzzle. Couple that with the fact that smoking dope arrests intellectual development and you have a picture of Obama’s stunted psyche.

Obama is not going to change. His agenda was set long before the election that has devastated this country. And his ideology and ego are the catalysts for continued decay of the American fabric.
The change we need will come in January 2013.

Obama published an article about it in a [Columbia] campus magazine in which he invoked the vision of "a nuclear free world." That's something only a naive jr. high schooler would believe possible. I'd bet hard cash he also believed communism wasn't working in Russia "the way it should" because "it wasn't being implemented properly."

One thing Obummer and I have in common. My political philosophy is stuck in the 1980's as well.

I'd bet hard cash he also believed communism wasn't working in Russia "the way it should" because "it wasn't being implemented properly."It was the EEEVil American Military Industrial Complex fault that the Soviets had to spend so much of their money on their Military to protect themselves instead of spreading that wealth amongst their loyal subjects.

The most important thing we all need to remember is this: Obammy spent many years in a church where the preacher continually preached: God Damn America.

Obammy spent many years in a church where the preacher continually preached: God Damn America. Seems like God is answering that prayer.

Oh yes, the 1980's taught all reasonable men that the so called "nuclear freeze" only benefits despots, Soviets, Red Chinese and other assorted and sundry totalitarian regimes around the world.

You bring up a serious matter to consider. When we elect somebody, we’re also electing the spouse. And who knows how much a spouse can affect a person we elect? So we also need to vet the spouse and be certain Mrs. congressman isn’t a flame-snorting Stalinist. We’re not cozy to whatever pillow talk goes on and the affect that has on our elected officials.

I don’t agree—I think God is in His heaven, and He watches over us.

I dont agreeI think God is in His heaven, and He watches over us. Yeah. I know. I was just kidding.
I don't doubt we're going to go through some hell but as long as we keep our thoughts on God's grace, mercy, and kindness we'll get through it.
In other words, we can "absorb" 4 or 8 years of Ubamaism.
