Different women like different things. Treat the woman you want to impress as an individual, find out what she, as an individual, likes and don’t try to stereotype her.

Rule #1: Find out about her Dad. If her father is a handy man, a hunter, a business tycoon, a policeman, whatever, it will show you the kind of man she will instinctively seek in a partner/spouse. Tall/short, characteristics, personality type. Watch how she talks about him; does she speak with love in her voice? If so, she will want that kind of man.

My beloved father was a tall, strapping man, an engineer, conservative and old-fashionged. Not a surprise that my wonderful husband is a tall strapping man, incredibly handy and can fix almost anything, conservative and old-fashioned.

But that was then, when women still had romantic notions.

Nowadays, it's a lot easier. Be courteous and respectful; most young men are not. Oh, yeah, and don't call her "Ho" or "B" on the first date.
