WikiLeaks, the whistle-blowers Web site that has announced plans to begin publishing another tranche of secret American documents, reported on Sunday that its Web site was under attack. The message posted on Twitter said: We are currently under a mass distributed denial of service attack.
No more details about the nature of the denial of service attack have yet been made public, but WikiLeaks.org is currently accessible, about one hour after the Twitter alert was posted.
On Saturday night, the State Department released the text of a letter sent by its legal adviser, Harold Hongju Koh, to Julian Assange, the Web sites public face, and his lawyer, Jennifer Robinson, concerning its intended publication of secret State Department documents. The full text of the letter, which was posted online by Reuters, can be read below.

It’s about time.
I hope I live long enough to see ASSange meet “an untimely death”. I’ll bet Hollyweird has already cast the loony character actor Sean Penn to play ASSange in the movie. Penn always gets the psycho roles. That’s the only roles he gets.
Shut the F’ers down . . . NOW!
TO, Whackoleak...
Whining over a little DOS attack??? Be glad that USA has a WUSS for a President..or you little DOS attack could have just as easily been a TACTICAL NUKE!!!
have a nice day, asshole!
Good! DoS isn’t the only trouble they will have, if they piss off the wrong folks.
I think they (Julian Assange) have already pissed off the wrong people. He seems to be an excellent candidate for a Toyota throttle incident.
LOL! Good point.
Ditto that!!!
If true, Assange himslef has overstepped even the proprietoes of tolerance afforded international leftists exposure groups, and Assange will become a target for assassination himself.
Causing the deaths of such informants ( and their families in some cases)will fall directly on Assange, I doubt he will be still breathing God's good air by this time next year. Why you might ask? The leaks have become espionage in which humans are killed. If so, Assange is as good as a dead.
Assange gets the Darwin award.
They don't get as much note as the Mossad, but they do the same stuff ~ so my guess is that Assange's relatives out 2 generations either side will WIN the Darwin Award sweepstakes.
The people who work with him will also find that the Saudis are not their friends.
First, he'll lose both hands and both feet (in what is roughly speaking an alternating sequence). Then they'll chop off his head ~
I’d say that Assange gets the 0bama/Soros award. They’re all peas in a pod.
I am sick of this characterization as ‘whistleblowers’ They are traitors and the so-called ‘leaks’ are treasonous acts.
There has to be some law to get them. They must know that someone might die, so if even one person’s death can be linked to them, they should be arrested and charged with first degree premeditated murder.
What wikitreason needs is an “attack” on their contributors
Had these been Russian Dossiers, Assange would already have been infected with a mysterious virus and he would be comatose by now.
They only choose the US, because of our freedom of speech and our tolerance. Of course everyone knows that Obummer is weak and won’t retaliate at all.
Sad
It’s really too bad that wikileaks has not exploded in it’s founders face.
Why is this man not dead yet?
Obamanation hand-wring. Will you stop, it please, pretty please? Too late - that horse already fled the barn!
