If those birth announcements actually are contemporaneous items that ran in the papers in ‘61, not only was there no place of birth listed, no mother’s name was listed nor was any child’s name given. Only “a son” to Mr. and Mrs. Barack H. Obama. Which Mrs.? He had at least two, if not three, at that time. If he truly left Kenya in 1955, and if he truly had two children with Kezia, his first wife, BEFORE 1959, then was Kezia with him in Hawaii?

If Obama directed Hawaii to produce the full and actual records they have and those are validated to be free of fraud and those officially released and validated records do indeed show that Steven Dunham, aka Barry Sutoro, aka Barack Hussein Obama was born in Hawaii, he would still not meet the basic requirement to be President. He is not a “natural born citizen” because his father was not a citizen.
Both parents must be citizens at the time of their child’s birth to meet the intent of “natural born citizen” as the Framers of the Constitution meant that phrase.

It might be important to add that not only did Grams say he was born in Kenya, she said she was present for the birth. It would take quite an imagination to make that up and it would be a little hard for her to forget that fact. How could it be a mistake in translation?

I don’t know that you are correct. From what I’ve read (and I’ve tried to read everything...) she did say that the future President of the US passed through her hands when he was a baby.

It probably was not an American passport. He must have also carried an Indonesian one. The fact that he was issued an Indonesian passport as a child is not interesting because he was a minor and had nothing to do with that.
It interests me greater whether he had that Indonesian passport renewed or extended as an adult. That would be asserting his duality AS AN ADULT, and might compromise his citizenship re presidential eligibility.
And the MOST interesting thing about his past and eligibility, to me, is how he applied for colleges. If he applied as a foreign student, that means that the President of the United States checked the box marked NO to the question “Are you an American citizen?” And that is inexcusable.

Certainly a lot of prominent "conservatives" shy away from the subjects of the place of Obama's birth and his likely lack of constitutional qualification for the presidency, as if it were the third rail. It's Kenyans - not only Obama's grandmother but also at least three parliamentarians and the Kenyan ambassador to the US - who have provided us with much of the evidence supporting the proposition that Obama was born in Kenya.
John LeBoutellier (former congressman) shouldn't be weighing in on this serious legal matter via a novel. He shouldn't be blurring the line between fiction and fact. That's indicative of a man who has been cowered.
