Enabling illegal immigrants trumps the rule of law. Seems like its been this way since the late 70s. And, honestly, how long does it take to verify that a SS# doesn’t match a name? It should take seconds—2 days tops.

Even if it weren’t ID theft, wouldn’t it be perpetrating fraud on the employer and the SSA?

Not really, as you do not know if it is a valid SS number, or whose identity it is.
I would say, however, it is obviously fraud.

That being said, it is just another example of America going to hell in a hand-basket , and why I am happy not to be there.
Every day, as I open FR and see the insanity that has besieged America, I wonder if it can last another two years.

It's not the 'rule of law' they no longer care about. It's that they no longer care about FACTS or TRUTH.
