Repealing ObamaCare and the Food Industry takeover would be a good place to start.

But they are harder to make when one element of a political coalition views compromise itself as the problem.

Depends if the compromise is necessary or just a means to curry favor in the Beltway.

The problem is, as one House Republican told me, "If we don't raise the limit, we are Argentina."

If the Democrats have their way, we will be just that.

TRANSLATION: The “know nothings” will do their damn best to limit the influence of the newly-elcted freshmen... thus ensuring that principle is cast overboard so to preserve the status quo establishment corruption.

Let’s hope these TEA Party styled individuals have the spine to tell their supposed “handlers” to “FK OFF” in plain English.

Eric Cantor is already a disappointment - ready, willing and able to negotiate away the repeal of obamacare... said it today... a full blown RINO in the making...

They only get one chance. They need to present a balanced budget, with no deficit. Let O refuse to sign it.

But if they accept any deficit at all in their budget they will have lost their moral high ground. The Dems play this game year after year, pointing out that Repubs also voted for their stupid policies. That has to stop. Present a balanced budget, no deficit. If the Dems want to force a Gingrich-style government shut-down, then we should accept it as a grand bit of political theater. Fund those “necessary” portions of the government, as we did in Gingrich’s day, and let the country see just how little government we really need.
