The Climate Cash Cow
National Center For Policy Analysis ^ | November 30, 2010 | NCPA/IBD

Posted on 11/30/2010 11:44:28 AM PST by raptor22

high-ranking member of the U.N.'s Panel on Climate Change admitted the group's primary goal is the redistribution of wealth and not environmental protection or saving Earth, says Investor's Business Daily (IBD).

Ottmar Edenhofer, a German economist and cochair of the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's (IPCC) Working Group III on Mitigation of Climate Change, told the Neue Zurcher Zeitung last week: "The climate summit in Cancun at the end of the month is not a climate conference, but one of the largest economic conferences since the Second World War."

In his IPCC post, Edenhofer was a lead author of the IPCC's Fourth Assessment Report in 2007, says IBD.

Based on anecdotal evidence, it contained unsubstantiated claims that the Himalayan glaciers would soon disappear and Bangladesh would be totally submerged. Edenhofer claims "developed countries have basically expropriated the atmosphere of the world community" and so they must have their wealth expropriated and redistributed to the victims of their alleged crimes, the postage stamp countries of the world. He admits this "has almost nothing to do with environmental policy anymore, with problems such as deforestation or the ozone hole." It has everything to do with a different kind of green.

Among other things, you have billionaires buying up huge tracts of Brazilian rain-forest and calling it an “offset”. I say its colonialism, except worse than the original. In the old colonialism, countries invested and developed their third world colonies. In the modern more perverse version, they stop the third world from developing. And call it an offset.

Anything that comes from any kind of a “Panel on Climate Change” is going to be a lie or a reason to enslave you or bring you extreme poverty and/or Death.

This guy says this knowing that industrialized countries like the US actually remove CO2 from the air. The US removes one third of the CO2 that crosses our borders.

This has been common knowledge since 1998.

track it back to it’s beginning - in Chicago - with ‘bummer and his nefarious friends - and the Climate Exchange they just shut down - hoping to stop the trail of evidence? And why do you think Twinkle Toes REALLY just up and scooted back to Chi Town - without even a place to stay? ‘have some heavy ‘shovel’ work to do = the burying kind?
