MIAMI (WSVN) -- The bomb squad is on the scene of a suspicious package that forced the closure of a busy road and the evacuation of two nearby office buildings.
Late Tuesday morning, Miami Police blocked Southwest Eighth Street between 49th Avenue and 51st Court, as the Miami Bomb Squad arrived to investigate the package found inside an Avianca express van in the area.
Bomb squad crew members fave been carefully removing packages from the van with a rope and from a distance in order to get to the suspicious parcel.

Suspicious Package Shuts Down Liberty Avenue
PITTSBURGH — Crews shut down part of Liberty Avenue in Bloomfield Tuesday after a suspicious package was found for the second time in less than 24 hours.
The package was found around 9 a.m. at PNC Bank near Cedarville Avenue and Corday Way in the area of West Penn Hospital.
The bomb squad found a used computer monitor inside the box.
Liberty Avenue was shut down for a short time while crews investigated.
It has since been reopened.
Another suspicious package was found in downtown Pittsburgh overnight.
