Repeal of DADT will probably reduce the enlistment of straight soldiers by 10-20 percent. That's the real goal here, weakening our military services.

There's no massive amount of gays who really want to serve their country, but are prevented by DADT. The gays who are currently in the military have joined with DADT in place, and almost all accept it. It simply means that they need to be discreet.
