Boston Globe pushes condoms in schools through phony "teen" initiative

Sunday's Boston Globe featured the article, "Teens seek schools' aid on sexual safety" on the front page of their Metro section. The article is basically another liberal puff piece promoting Planned-Parenthood style sex ed, trumpeting the kids as modern-day heroines, with the subtle message that anyone who might disagree is would be against "student safety."

The article also promotes the upcoming showing of a pro-sex ed video supposedly created by the teenagers, promoting the Planned Parenthood sexual agenda, particularly free condom distribution, as the only alternative to ignorance, disease, and destruction.

Of course, there is no opposing view included in the article. Plus, it's a stretch to believe that these girls did all this on their own. The obvious conclusion -- that they girls were recruited and coached to do this by activist adults -- isn't explored. But if they were conservatives, they'd be accused of being put up by every right-wing group the Globe could think of.

Sex Education has been directly tied to promiscuity in high school students. The more schools put it into the curricula, the more sexual the kids become.

Sex education was the idea of the Freudian Marxists to bring down Western Civilization. An immoral people are unable to be free.

Great article. They are all atheists out to destroy the natural family and Christianity....the two pillars which create moral, independent, responsible people whom the government despises. They are evil Marxists. Keep exposing their agenda....people may wake up and save the minds and health of their children. Public schools have got to get rid of the Marxist curricula designed by the likes of Fromm, Marcuse and Ayers. EVIL, evil men.

A couple of years back, my daughter's school had an informational night on “Reaching Puberty”. My daughter wanted to go because her friends did. So I took her and a couple of friends, with their parent's permission. The first part of the program was ok, general information appropriate to their age. Then they said that we were to split into groups to discuss “relevant topics” : a boys group, a girls group, and a parents group. People started to break up into groups without even asking a question, so I asked the director what the girls would be discussing and with who. They introduced me to the county director of health, who introduced me to 3 college age students, with no relevant experience , who would be leading the girls talk on puberty, “reproductive health” and sexuality. I told them that I thought I knew more about what I wanted by daughter to learn at her age then these 3 twenty year olds. I told some of the other parents, and a group of us decided to send our kids over to the library so they could skip their separate group meeting. Then we parents went to the parents meeting, lead by the HS nurse. Ugh!!! She began telling us how most high schoolers are sexually active, and free condoms were provided at the nurses office. She said how our kids had a right to birth control and if necessary an abortion without parental notification, and that we had no idea what goes on with teens today. I was furious with her lecturing. I was the first to speak up and ask her how dare she announce she would help our kids get an abortion and to speak down to us like we were clueless. She got mad and announced that as an RN she had “responsibilities and was required to do what was best for our kids, and knew what was going on with teens better then we ever could”. Finally other parents spoke up, and in that audience we had a doctor, psychologist, other teachers and others that were flabbergasted by her behavior. We are still fighting with the district over her and policy. I asked my niece, who is in HS, what was going on. She said they all know they can get free condoms, which they do regularly, because “they make cool water balloons” and it's a big joke. The nurse takes this to mean they all are sexual maniacs as she goes through so many condoms. So she pushes the message, get your condoms, help in getting birth control, etc Yes, we're in NY.
