There are times - like this one - when I hate democrats...
One shouldnt single out Gore or the democrats on the ethanol issue. If you have ever followed a presidential primary leading up to the Iowa caucus, you know that both parties pander to the agriculture lobby. I’ll give Gore this, he at least admitted what few republicans would even though they are just as guilty. This is a great moment. This is a tailor made wedge issue in this tea party climate to single out the panderers in the republican party running for congressional and presidential office in 2012. Simply vote for the guy who takes a stand and opposes the subsidy. Will dems take advantage of this in farm states? Probably but never has there been a time when even dems and liberal greenies opposed the subsidy more. It might not help a dem candidate to support it.
