I don't either. A liberal acquaintance once gave me a gift subscription to the magazine. I read a few issues, but soon just put them directly in the trash. Really stupid articles written by nontechnical people trying to pretend they were experts in various fields. And always validating the socialist/liberal mind set.

well, thank you. your reply is part of the “research” I was talking about. I have looked it up, but really, didn’t learn a lot about it. But your words speak volumes. That is one of the best parts of being a Freeper... I get smarter! :)
LOL...me too. My brother in law used to give me copies, and I read a few. A few was enough.
Reminds me of the time my mother-in-law (a REAL liberal) gave me a copy of “The People’s History of The United States” as a Christmas present. She knew I loved to read, and was a history buff.
I was kind of excited when I got it, too. So when I sat down and began reading, just a paragraph in I said to myself “WTF?”
I skipped a few pages and read a few more passages. Then skipped a few chapters to some key historical events, and read those. After ten minutes, I got up, went out to my garage and threw the book in the trash.
Funny thing was, my mother-in-law really was trying to get me a book she thought I would like. She had no idea, she just saw it on the bargain book rack at Borders, and grabbed it...:)
Great summary of MJ. It sounds like they haven’t changed in 30+ years. I subscribed in my late teens, as well as to The Nation.
Then I started really thinking . . .
