Former U.S. Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld, actor Rainn Wilson and ex-Playboy executive Christie Hefner are among the entering class in New Trier Township High School's alumni Hall of Honor awards.

Charlton Heston went there, right?

Yes. According to school lore he was suspended for riding a motorcycle through the hall and into the swimming pool, which is generally considered his first attempt at parting a large body of water.

Emanuel grew up in the suburb of Wilmette, on Ramona Road, a VERY wealthy area. He probably had no connection to Chicago other than the household help lived there.

It's Romona Road, and that's west Wilmette. Upper middle class but not a particularly wealthy area. Not compared to Wilmette east of Greenbay.

How could they not let Ann-Margaret in???

How could they not choose me? Class of 1970-something.

Admittedly it is not Sheridan Road but houses on Romona go for over a million bucks.
