This is likely going to end one of two ways - both badly.

One (and the most likely scenario) - the folks who prefer not to serve with homos takes this azzwipe Mullen up on his offer and the entirety of the military suffers from both recruitment and retention.

Two - they really don’t care about serving with rump rangers and the same sort of whiny little bass turds like the one that gave away our state secrets because he was having a bad hair day and America gets a rainbow military.

Playing devils advocate . . .consider the possibility that Mullen is working another angle here which is specific to the enemy our troops face. Recall the Frontline program bacha bazi (dancing boys of Afghanistan). Understanding how to manipulate extreme sexual repression of fundamentalist Islamic societies is one of those angles. A stretch, but given this is our military on the line, perhaps Mullen is taking advantage of an as yet untested method of undermining the enemy's well documented behavioral weakness.
