Hmm, that is a very interesting angle. Is this a theory or has someone close to the Assange goings-on whispered that this is the case?
It is obvious... Assange was working for the Russians and thought he could collect his gold before leaking any Russian information...
Problem is he found out the way the Russians intended to pay him (the way they always pay everyone).
