As a single mother-of-eight, Kate Gosselin is no stranger to stress.
But it took Mama Grizzly Sarah Palin to publicly reduce her to tears.
The bizarre duo headed off together on a camping trip in Sarah's native Alaska recently.
Filming the adventure for an episode of the politician's new reality show, Sarah Palin's Alaska, Kate brought her eight children with her.
'I have never camped for real,' Kate, 35, admitted in a new clip of the episode, released today on Usmagazine.com.
In the preview clip, viewers can watch Kate hiking through the woods with her group of children and learning about the dangers of bears from a ranger.
At one point, Kate is tearful as she complains: 'I'm chilled to the bone.'
Sitting in the damp camp ground, the Kate Plus Eight star then moans: 'I'm hungry.'
In another scene, she jumps and pulls a face as she watches 46 year-old Sarah shooting a rifle.
Sarah is heard cajoling her with the words: 'Come on! It wasn't that bad!'

Looking at the Teapublican takeover of Congress, Governorships and Statehouses...I'd say Governor Palin is doing both, and getting plenty of popular exposure as well.
DeMint now has fewer heads to smack as a result.
Were DeMint in Palin's place, he would be the one being ridiculed and attacked the way Palin was and is. DeMint is a good guy, but few people know him compared to Palin.
The one who is in the van of the attack, Palin, has been the one taking the spears.
The Left will lie about anyone or anything that is a threat to them. If you watched the Bush White House implode, you would have learned that.

Kate Gosselin is a mother of 8 kids, and star of a different TLC reality show called “Kate plus 8”, which used to be “Jon and Kate plus eight” until Jon and Kate split up last year.
Each week, they do some exciting thing that I think is mostly paid for by sponsors or advertisers on the show, things that your kids may never get a chance to do because you were not a publicity hound.
We only care because Kate and her kids will be on Sarah Palin’s Alaska on TLC.
I am sure it was an asterisk in the contract, and TLC really needed to do something about their formerly pretty high rated show falling to pieces.
I remember over several years some of the top dramatic shows had their stars helping out in investigations,etc in the other shows on the network with similar themes like crimes and investigations. Usually they were two or three part stories, and they were done very well.
I remember a very few where it did not seem to work out, still entertaining just not intelligent.
Did she adopt these kids or is she their birth mother?LOL! You don't even know who she is! LOL!

Thank you for defending the troops (as if they needed defending on FR, but sometimes one wonders). Our son has over 2 1/2 yrs combat (Army Infantry) in Iraq, first deployment to Baqubah, the 2nd deployment to Diyala Province at two different FOBs. One FOB was only a couple of clicks away from where the soldiers were captured (and later executed), they attempted a QRF but couldn’t pull it off, they got rolling but with limited manpower/equipment at the FOB, just couldn’t cover enough area quickly enough.
The men were screaming about shutting down the traffic that was carrying lots of produce to markets during that critical time period; they said that it would be a perfect way to smuggle the soldiers out (their screaming fell on deaf ears...). Turns out they got info that that’s what had occurred. Major frustration.
We understand Diyala, didn’t sleep a wink that year and a half.
Me thinks that you live a very sheltered life that doesn’t reflect the real world, but lives in a very Phelp’s esque type of one. You state that “everyone else” has 8 or more children. That is not normal. I don’t know anyone who has such a number of children, nor should it be a norm.

I’m not either because I think when you fertilize and implant 6 eggs sometimes you end up like this family. They were lucky I think, that none of the kids have serious issues from being born early, small, etc. So many of the kids in these situations end up struggling health wise.
