Alright!!! I’m in before anybody posts any actual pictures of Grendel’s mother (monster’s mother in Beowulf for those of you who have forgotten your mythology). In Chait’s worldview if you aren’t liberal then, by default, you are some kind of racist .. what kind isn’t clear, but you sure’nuff are a racist. To them, that is what conservatives are. There is no question in their minds about that.
So now he’s slightly less stupid, but somehow couldn’t see the obvious bigotry in saying that the Land of Israel is the exclusive property of Arabs, only Arabs, and nobody but Arabs, and especially not Jooos. I guess nativists who used to tell Catholics to “go back to where you came from” and decried the undue influence of papism in politics were merely preserving the separation of Church and State. Next time I see an American Indian, I’ll tell him to go back to the reservation and have some firewater, and he’ll say I’m not being racist, but merely anti-Alcoholic.
If I remember right Jamie Farr is or at least used to be conservative.He was one of a group of celebrities who supported Bush on the Iraq war. He’s Lebanese, but not Muslim.
Lebanon is the only country in the middle east that is predominately Christian. The current census is around 55%.
