Julian Assange calls for anarchy, complete removal of US ‘chain of command’ including Obama
Wire Update ^ | December 6, 2010 | Joe Brooks

Posted on 12/05/2010 7:52:42 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

In an interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais, WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange demanded the complete removal of every United States leader, from the lowest government official all the way to the highest office, for their involvement in spying on UN officials — including the resignation of President Barack Obama. In other words, anarchy.

"The whole chain of command who was aware of this order, and approved it, must resign if the US is to be seen to be credible nation that obeys the rule of law," Assange told the newspaper through an internet phone call. "The order is so serious it may well have been put to the president for approval. Obama should say what he knew about this illegal order and when he knew it. If he refuses to answer or provide no evidence that approved those actions, he should resign."

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary anarchy is described as an absence of government, a state of lawlessness or political disorder due to the absence of governmental authority, and a utopian society of individuals who enjoy complete freedom without government.

Hey, we found the money that could be available to pay all the unemployed workers who really need assistance.

So you don’t think French Toast deserves diplomatic immunity?

Look - I don't give a rats' behind about Assange, but is the author lying about Assange actually "call[ing] for anarchy"?

Where is the money quote?

BO’s entire regime should be legally removed. If Honduras can remove their President for violating their Constitution, we the people can certainly legally remove BO who is illegally occupying our White House.

I think the author is naming what Mr. Assange is asking for “anarchy” or at least that’s my take.

Whoah! I was thinking of Assange and his pranks when I was doing dishes just a few hours ago and it occurred to me he is nothing but an anarchist. And sure enough I read this article just now and there it is. The guy is an anarchist.

“...including the resignation of President Barack Obama.”

I’m starting to like this guy.

Either this article is made up or this feller is nuts. It reminds me of Woody Allen’s movie, Bananas. The rebel leader(Castro) became so megalomaniacal that he ordered that all underwear be worn on the outside of clothing so it could be checked for cleanliness easier.

Tell the FDA,FCC,TSA and the IRS that you are free

What better choice could a free citizen of a great country make than to follow the path laid down by our betters for our benefit. If you are not capable of seeing that this is the right thing to do you do not deserve the freedoms they have granted you. Sheesh. Don't you understand anything?

Why, he now has his “insurance policy”, so why hasn’t he unloaded his data on the Russkies? His insurance policy should prevent anything bad happening to him. /sarc

I think you're right; The author is editorializing.

I wonder how this author would characterize Freepers?

The guy is an anarchist.

A few anarchists help keep the joints in a democratic society flexible. Also they are quite amusing so long as they don't use real bombs.

Mr. Obama is our problem, not the United Nations or this Australian. If he could get Mr. Obama to resign, he could get a President Washington, Eisenhower or Reagan kicked out. Think about it.

So in your mind O may be a muslim marxists usurper but he is our muslim marxist usurper?

Releasing info on our troops was bad but O and his Saudi pals are the ones getting American troops killed now (1010 highest death rate) not Assange.

If this guy is exposing corruption then he is far better than dishonest Soros puppets like McCain.

Assange is a thorn in Obama’s side. That is currently good enough for me. The documents released were available to over a hundred thousand people including gay 22 year old soldier malcontents. Obviously, our enemies already had access to them.

Assange called for people in the chain of command who issued the order to spy on UN Diplomats to resign. A few of Obama’s cronies resigning would not cause anarchy.

I appreciate the articles you post. This one is highly misleading, but still good for conversation.
