The so called peace movement in the 1960s never asked the Viet Cong to lay down their weapons. The leaders of the movement were decidedly Pro-North Vietnmese Communist military.

They don’t seem to like Hitler for some reason even though he was the leader of the National SOCIALIST Party. He is one of them that they disown (I guess you have to have a universal bad guy). The red in the Nazi flag stands for Communism. Or at least it did until Adolf and Joey had a spat.
