I agree with your assessment. She may have waved down a vehicle - or perhaps it was a case of road rage gone horribly wrong and the other party realized she was a witness.
OMG...I didn’t even consider the latter scenario.
I’m praying for her safe return but don’t feel a whole lot of hope....:(
