Do the guns match?
According to the LA Times, ballistics report results say the gun that killed Ronni Chasen on Nov. 16 matches the one "person of interest” Harold Martin Smith fatally used on himself on Dec. 1
The Beverly Hills Police Department has scheduled a press conference on their investigation into the killing of Ronni Chasen at 3 p.m. PST. “The Press Conference,” said the BHPD, “is to provide an update on the Ronnie Chasen Murder.”

I thought the suspect bragged about getting paid $10k to kill her. But I might be wrong.

The killer may have been a kook but he had been telling neighbors previously that he was paid $10,000 for the killing. The question still is who paid him to kill her.
Or a "contract" killing...
Or a disgruntled past client.
Or an unbalanced wannabe client.
Or a disgruntled employee.
The possibilities are endless.
That's why it's called an ongoing investigation.
Sorry, I don’t believe in “ballistics” matching of guns to bullets, except in VERY limited cases.

The shooter was skilled. Former cops and others have said that.
Blame it on the dead guy. Tie it up with neat little bow. Case closed.
I went a couple of days ago and kept it in 3” at 15 yards with a 1 count between shots.

Santa came early to Beverly Hills. This woman was a publicist in Hollywood with a net worth of $6.1 million. She left a lot of it to one niece and stiffed the other niece and left her $10! Not a really nice lady.
Hollywood is a lot sleazier and corrupt than most people realize. A few blocks away from the San Fernando Valley also called Porn Valley. The starlets and star wannabes can always find other work.
This sure ooks like a hit on this woman. After seeing how shestiffed her niece - my guess is she crossed the wrong person.
Explains the angle. He was able to get close enough to cause an extreme trajectory.
Still, I wonder if he shot blindly or somewhat blindly looking down through the roof of the car, which may have been an obstruction.
Must be using a SIG, Beretta or CZ. Glocks “ain’t” that accurate.
