From your source:
“Sarah Palin tweets:
Obviously Obama is so very, very wrong on the economy & spins GOP tax cut goals; so fiscal conservatives: we expect you to fight for us & America’s solvency.”
-
“What is she talking about? It is obvious that an extension of the Bush tax cuts are wrong? Or is it obvious that Obama is adopting ideas that were once Republican positions? If the latter, it should be a good thing, one would think. This is Palin at her worst — reflexively anti-deal making, grandstanding, imprecise and unreasoned. If she has a specific policy argument — e.g. the payroll tax “costs” too much for too little job growth — then you’d think she, who has been accused of being light on policy knowledge, would want to spell . . er . . . tweet that out.”
He IS wrong on the economy and the Obama spins about the “tax cuts” — and we do really need fiscal conservatives FIGHTING for us and America’s solvency. Sarah’s right, though she should have elucidated a bit more via Facebook rather than limit herself to Twitter. (Or at least get Twitlonger.)
Yes, well I can’t be held responsible for Jennifer Rubin being unable to understand twitter-speak.
It’s not like there aren’t other sources explaining that Palin is on board with DeMint’s objections to the compromise. But all the articles that explained that were about her “endorsing” somebody else’s tweet. This was the only article I found that had a tweet from HER in it.
Sen DeMint is right on the money.
This was a RINO-Obama deal
It looks to me like you and the top leadership of the Repellican Party cannot see the forest for the trees!!! We don't want another in a long series of losing compromises... we want clear cut victories!!! (and I do mean "clear cut")
You are wrong. She is stating disappointment in the deal especially when it comes to raising some taxes and increasing benefits to the unemployed. The RINOs love this deal because it was Bush’s baby
