Outgoing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says the DREAM Act represents the new "American dream."
"In coming here, these new comers, from that time a couple hundred years ago and to this day, by coming with that optimism and hope and commitment to a better future for the next generation, they made America more American. So tonight, we have an opportunity to identify with the aspirations of our founders," Pelosi said on the House floor prior to the vote.

She should be scared to return to her district after treating her constituents in this fashion.

Leave it to the Dims to make really screwy analogies. At the time of the Revolution, the majority of the Founding Fathers were well-established in the British colonies of North America. They were not “recent” arrivals with the exception of Alexander Hamilton and maybe a couple others I’m not aware of. They were subjects of the British Crown, not squatters or illegal immigrants.
It is all just 24x7 propaganda with ALL TV and all the media protecting them. Day is night, up is down. They are so evil. 2010 and America will be meaningless if the Senate does not stop this.
Nice of her to throw our founding fathers under the bus like that by equating illegals looking to sponge off of our country to the foundiung fathers that made our country great and created the constitution of the US to hopefully keep it that way.
Hamilton was a British citizen having been born in a British colony, the same as all the other founding fathers.
Like I’ve said before, we need to start randomly testing all politicians for drugs.
