Well, you may certainly be right. But man boy sex was also found in North Africa. Some European and American homosexuals used to visit there, or even live there, when such activities were illegal in Europe and America.
Not to get into too many details, the attitude is much the same as it was in Nazi Germany. Homosexuals were executed in Germany and in Muslim countries, and there was even an effort by the gay activists to make Nazi homosexual killings the equivalent of the Jewish Holocaust. The only trouble is that homosexual activities were common in the Hitler Youth League, and some of the top Nazis were homsexuals.
What it amounts to is a divided attitude. It’s OK to be the butch homosexual, the dominant one, but it’s not OK to be the submissive homosexual. Those are the ones who are used and then sent to the prison camps or stoned. It’s not usually just a matter of two equal men. One is dominant, and the other is submissive.
