WikiLeaks: Texas Company Helped Pimp Little Boys To Stoned Afghan Cops
John Nova Lomax ^ | December 7, 2010 | John Nova Lomax

Another international conflict, another horrific taxpayer-funded sex scandal for DynCorp, the private security contractor tasked with training the Afghan police.

While the company is officially based in the DC area, most of its business is managed on a satellite campus at Alliance Airport north of Fort Worth. And if one of the diplomatic cables from the WikiLeaks archive is to be believed, boy howdy, are their doings in Afghanistan shady.

The Afghanistan cable (dated June 24, 2009) discusses a meeting between Afghan Interior Minister Hanif Atmar and US assistant ambassador Joseph Mussomeli. Prime among Atmar's concerns was a party partially thrown by DynCorp for Afghan police recruits in Kunduz Province.

Many of DynCorp's employees are ex-Green Berets and veterans of other elite units, and the company was commissioned by the US government to provide training for the Afghani police. According to most reports, over 95 percent of its $2 billion annual revenue comes from US taxpayers.

And in Kunduz province, according to the leaked cable, that money was flowing to drug dealers and pimps. Pimps of children, to be more precise. (The exact type of drug was never specified.)

Since this is Afghanistan, you probably already knew this wasn't a kegger. Instead, this DynCorp soiree was a bacha bazi ("boy-play") party, much like the ones uncovered earlier this year by Frontline.

To those who oppose Wikileaks, I ask the following: would Congress or the imperial presidency ever expose this information?

To those who support Wikileaks, I ask the following: how many good dead men is this worth to you? Did you not already know islam was like this?

So Wikileaks got one right. Still doesn’t make up for everything else.

By the way there was thread posted like this one 2 days ago that vanished without a trace. Seems someone doesn’t like the fact that our PMCs are being shown for what they really are. Mercenary Scum. I’m just saying.

I note that you can’t provide a single example to back up your claim. I can provide multiple examples. Again, do you believe that (left on their own) Congress and the presidnet would ever reveal this information?

I guess I’d prefer that my tax dollars don’t go to child rape, but you go ahead.

So I think I see the pattern to your thinking:

Tax payer money being used to fund orgies with little boys? No problem.

Giving money to the Pakistani ISI and the Taliban? No problem.

Letting our troops fight for areas only to walk away a few months later in an endless cycle of attrition? No problem.

Exposing any of this and being outraged and demanding our government shape up? That is the problem!

How many have there been?

One right? Tip of the iceberg. For example, another example in the latest batch is the damning evidence that our masters in Washington were hip deep in cooking the books on global warming. Again, do you believe either the Congress or the president, or the MSM, would reveal this information if left on their own?

Other than the one diplomat’s concern. What evidence is there that DynCorp really did this?

If Dyncorp did this, it should come to light and the appropriate people be punished. But if it’s an unfounded allegation with no evidence, then maybe the govt was right to bury it.

For Pashtuns in the South of Afghanistan, there is no shame in having a little boy lover; on the contrary, it is a matter of pride. Those who can afford the most attractive boy are the players in their world, the OG's of places like Kandahar and Khost. On the Frontline video, ridiculously macho warrior guys brag about their young boyfriends utterly without shame.

So, WHY are we helping these people save their country and thier 'culture'?

Found this on a search:

“bacha bazi - the dancing boys of Afghanistan, i.e. illicit sex trade: an ancient practice, secretly revived—young boys sold by families to ‘entertain’ wealthy merchants and warlords.

“So we have diplomatic activity related to what appears, if this cable is correct, to be child prostitution linked to a US company providing services in Afghanistan.

“This is the sort of thing our government is trying to keep from being disclosed by Wikileaks?

“This is what our government deemed “classified”?

“Covering up child prostitution - if that’s what happened - is this a legitimate “state secret”?”

I really could care less about the diplomatic crap wikileaks posted, but I damn sure have a problem with the military intel they put out. I have a son in the Marine Corps in Afghanistan, and many good friends over there. Wikileaks made their job alot harder, and may just get some of them killed.

I am however very happy to see scum like DynCorp, Blackwater, and KBR exposed. Their actions also put our military at risk.

...this isn't DynCorp's first brush with the sex-slavery game. Back in Bosnia in 1999, US policewoman Kathryn Bolkovac was fired from DynCorp after blowing the whistle on a sex-slave ring operating on one of our bases there....

So, WHY are the managers and employees of DynCorp allowed to continue to live on the taxpayers' dime? Or, alternatively, why are they allowed to LIVE at all?

Isn’t this cultural imperialism? What right do we have to impose our standards on the noble Afghan people? These practices go waaay back.

DynCorp, Blackwater and KBR have a history of repulsive behavior in theater. Look it up it’s all out there for anyone to see. Why we keep using these clowns is beyond me. They need to be shut down ASAP!

Did you not already know islam was like this?

I already knew islam was 'like this', but I do not, can not and will not, condone, support nor voluntarily fund American corporations' pandering to their perverse appetites.

If it's true, the problem isn't Islam. The problem is in an American company. Do we allow homos to pervert American business without complaint? Are they in your church?

Wow- that’s an eye-opener.

I have mixed thoughts on Wikileaks. I tend to believe it’s better the public be informed of the facts- too much goes on behind closed doors in our government that feeds on our human frailties, desires and flaws- some fresh air blowing through is a good idea.

It’s also true that all groups, whether large or small have a reasonable desire to keep confidential information private.

The dance between freedom and individual/groups privacy rights is a fascinating one- and we’re watching it play out before us.
