Obama skips debt commission meeting
CNN ^ | Dec. 9, 2010 | Ed Henry

WASHINGTON (CNN) - President Obama did not attend a White House meeting Thursday with members of his own debt commission, irking some of the Democrats on the panel who were expecting a high-level push from the commander-in-chief to show that its comprehensive deficit reduction plan is being taken seriously by the White House.

"He should have at least dropped by," one Democratic member of the debt commission told CNN, speaking on the condition of anonymity because he wanted to speak more freely about the panel's private meeting.

A second senior Democratic aide close to the panel added that commission members were miffed and privately believe the President did not attend because it would have been awkward "given the fact that he has just endorsed $900 billion in deficit spending" with the tax cut deal.

He’s crumbling. There were telltale signs aplenty in his latest presser.

He won’t complete his term. There are a number of ways that this could play out, but I say Biden will be president, at least for a short while.

Why not send Joe Biden in “O’s” place? I mean, what’s the difference?

Shows a disinterest in running the country which we will take care of in two years or before.

The tax cut rebuke is astonishing. It’s actually not pleasant to see a U.S. President so dissed by his own party. Kinda creepy.

Then there’s the big labor union that is going to oppose Obama on the S. Korea trade agreement.

I won’t be surprised if Obama decides he wants to retire and spend more time with his family.

What a bunch of tools. These morons that bow at Obama's feet still don't get it - Obama doesn't care if the economy gets fixed. If it did he'd have no leverage to push his marxism onto the American People.

I bet Obama and Axelrod sit in the Oval Office and make fun of these democrats...

LOL! They never told us that was as opposed to “heavy worker”. :)

Yep.

Yesterday a lib on NPR (Ken Rudin) said Obama was 'a poor leader, a poor negotiator (he concedes before the negotiations even begin), and a poor fighter.' He went on to compare Obama to the Wizard of Oz (as in 'he's a fake').

We, um, the world is better off when he's on vacation than when he's not.

Contact your congressman, senators, County Sheriff, DA, State Legislators, Governor, and County Grand Jury Foreman and demand that they indict, prosecute, convict and imprison BO, Big Sis and all of their local co-conspirators for leaking information to WikiLeaks and all the other crimes: Voter Fraud, Identity Theft, Illegal Foreign Campaign Contributions, TSA Sexual Assaults, Embezzlement of Government funds etc.

Mark Levin: “The possibility of impeachment does not immunize the president from criminal prosecution. He remains, at all times, a citizen of the United States who is answerable to the law.”
