Be careful what you suggest about the carnal tastes of our legislators. You may get them real excited.

I was shocked that she voted as she did. It appeared that she was genuinely offended by the amendment explanation she got from Reid. Just out of curiosity does anyone know anything about her health? The shaking and voice cracking is significant.

Just a reminder to all you RINO lurkers - once again, ANY true Conservative should be able to CLEARLY see that Lieberman is NOT one of us.

Not even CLOSE.

Anyone who supports Lieberman is a fool.
He is lower than even a RINO.

Lieberman will come around in a couple of year’s looking for Republican votes since he burned his bridge with Democrats.

Don't know what the chance are. I guess it will fail too. From the Hill blog:

"Lieberman plans standalone repeal of 'Don't ask, don't tell'

By Michael O'Brien - 12/09/10 04:40 PM ET

Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.) said Thursday he'll introduce a free-standing bill to repeal the military's "Don't ask, don't tell" policy.

Lieberman said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) agreed to bring legislation to the floor to do away with the military's prohibition on openly gay and lesbian service members.

The Connecticut independent said he would introduce the legislation as soon as today with language that mirrors an amendment to the defense authorization bill.

Senators failed to begin debate on that defense bill in a vote Thursday afternoon, and even some Republicans who favor repealing "Don't ask, don't tell" voted to sustain a filibuster."

Senators only acknowledge communication from people in their states.

I thought all republicans agreed to do nothing til else til the tax issue is settled.

I count 12 democrat senators up for election in 2012 who are also in traditionally middle of road or more conservative states.

List in order of most political injury caused by a pro-DADT vote, imho:

Jim Webb, Virginia
Bill Nelson, Florida
Sherrod Brown, Ohio
Ben Nelson, Nebraska
Claire Mccasiil, Missouri
Bob Casey, Pennsylvania
John Tester, Montana
Kent Conrad, N Dakota
Herb Kohl, Wisconsin
Bob Menendez, New Jersey
Jeff Bingamen, New Mexico
Debby Stabenow, Michigan

As much as you bitterly hate them, You must be looking forward to killing them all. [Behzinlea]

Jim (& Mod): Do we really have to stand this kind of a comment...where a FREEPER is accusing another FREEPER of wanting to be a mass murderer?

It's one thing to vehemently disagree with another poster, but when one projects the other as a future mass murderer, that's beyond the pale.

To me, that is a zottable offense.

Wow! Look @ post #24 and compare it to your response to post #18. #18 is mild by comparison...but that doesn't trigger or provoke a response from you as being "over the top. Not in a good way." (Only post #18, eh?)

Common sense isn't always so common in what we Free Republicans need to be provoked about, priority-wise.

Collins needs her butt kicked by the GOP leadership. I would not let this woman serve on any important committee, and I sure as heck would not let her chair one. She needs to be taken out to the woodshed. I am not one for writing Washington, but this makes me angry enough to write.
