I know this first hand, I served honorably in the Marine Corps, and did not go on a mission. I found out the LDS fraud, saw the wolves come out from under the sheep's clothing and have been snarled at since.
I have a duty to share what I know, and to protect others from what I suffered...and in this instance, the church that claims to be to sole contact with an unchanging God here on earth is trying to destroy the military that they don't (for the most part) serve in throguh a senator that opposed lds standards constantly.

Well, then why was BYU inviting Reid onto campus for an all-student, all-faculty roll-out-the-carpet event three years ago?

Harry Reid has openly bragged about being a temple recommend holder, and was allowed to address the entire BYU faculty and student body about a year ago. His topic was "Ezra Taft Benson" was an extremist and it's ok to be a democrat. The does not happen without Salt LAke's approval, and if he was in the wrong in their eyes, they would have excommunicated him publicly like they did the "Shirtless Missionary Calendar Guy".
Mormons with their history of polygamy should stay out of the gay marraige issue. Mormons with their mountain meadows massacre of immigrants should stay pout of the illegal alien debate...And mormons with their overall shirking of military duty SHOULD STAY OUT OF THE DADT debate.
Reid, Romney and LDS leadership are NOT Conservatives, they are NOT PATRIOTS, and they are NOT CHRISTIANS.

I wonder how many of these gay rights supporters have ever actually served in the military. I did and I would not want a gay in the bunk next to me.
most of any group does not serve and regardless of your view of them the fact remains they did great work and gave a lot of money to defeat the queers in CA.

They claim to be the only ones "led by God in every step"....they're against gay marraige in California, now for gays in the military.

Reid is for homosexuals along with some others, ,however others are not . It depends on who the person is in the group.
My point is why try and tar a whole group of over a million because of a few?
It’s obvious that you do not like mormons, fine but it might make a little more sense if you do not say it’s all of them who are like Reid because we both know that is not true.

My point is this is a group that has 5 year old children reciting from memory "When the LEADERS SPEAK, THE THINKING HAS BEEN DONE".
They claim to be patriots, but they are being used, and they will eventually, just like their leaders are doing now, betray America, true patriots and Christianity outright.
Mark my words, the day will come when their "prophet" tells them to turn in thier guns, and turn in anyone they know that has them who doesn't.

Don't know what you saw on WikiLeaks but Lieberman has always been perceived as strong on national defense and military matters, it's just that he is liberal through and through on almost if not all other matters.
You are right, Snowe and Collins politics are absolutely expected detestable as they are. Add Brown in Mass. and now the most liberal member of the senate by far, Mark Kirk, so called "republican" Illinois.
Kirk has a 10 year record in the house, that makes him more liberal than any member of either House calling themselves Republican and furthermore he puts most democrats to shame in the liberalism department.
All I'm waiting for now is for him to "come out of the closet" ala Barney Frank.
I agree. So long as people keep their business to themselves what is wrong with the status quo? I have met many gays and lesbians who were content to live their lives in a fairly normal way without making sexuality the centerpiece of their identity. But they are not the folks pushing this crap.
Those would be the ones who want to tell us that we can no longer use the word "homosexual" (which in their minds is the gay/lesbian equal of "colored" in 2010) They want to see us use gay and lesbian exclusively. Yet they continue to call each other "queer". How in the world could one of our brave soldiers really honestly trust the motives and commitment of the guy next to him if that guy has purposely learned a different speech pattern so that you cannot mistake his gayness? What happens if they gay dude insists that his piercings or haircut is significant to his "culture"? Their is a great big pandora's box associated with this that our highly educated "betters" have not even considered. What this heck is wrong with "men here, women over there and otherwise keep it yourself"? IMHO everyone is equal in that situation and that is all that the constitution requires.
I seriously doubt that this bill will see the light of day; however, I am contacting my two senators and asking them to put Collins in a mailbag and throw it into the nearest river. Seriously, I want to make certain that my representatives know my views. I hope others will do the same.
Of all the issues and problems caused by Congress, THIS is what they spend time on and what gets the disproportionate share of publicity
Meanwhile individuals and family businesses still don’t know what to do about estate, income and gift taxes, something these “representatives” have had ten years to work on.
No wonder Congress gets such low ratings.
