I’m choked up thinking about it, and choking me up is NOT an easy to do.
As a Dad myself - the FIRST responsibility is to protect your family. Period. No matter how bad your situation is, THAT is your primary purpose on this Earth.
That aspect is ironic. Maybe he learned to not care from his dad. ;-(
