At least one person, reportedly a suicide bomber, was killed when two blasts went off Saturday in a busy shopping district in the Swedish capital of Stockholm.
One of the blasts was thought to be related to a car bomb, in which two people were injured.
Swedish media also reported that a suicide bomber blew himself up about 200 metres from the car. The man apparently had canisters on him and shouted in Arabic before the blast.
Swedish media were also reportedly sent a threatening email before the blast, criticizing the role of Swedish soldiers in Afghanistan and urging Muslims to take action.
It is not yet known if the email and the explosions are linked.
I didn’t know there were Tea Parties in Sweden.
At least the gene pool got just a tad deeper.
I guess the Swedes are just as dumb as Americans in that they welcomed these “things” into their country. We, too, will likely pay the price someday.
After this can Swede’s remain neutral? maybe Oburkha can send an aircraft carrier over there and do what he did to the Korean problem...*ahem* nothing.
Ja, det kan jag!
Clearly the work of zionazi jews.
Not to make light of a bad situation but at least the Julbocken hasn't burned yet and it sounds like Gavle has stepped up security. Might just make it through this year.
AP:
According to the news agency, the e-mail referred to Sweden’s silence surrounding artist Lars Vilk’s drawing of Muhammad as a dog and its soldiers in Afghanistan.
“Now your children, daughters and sisters shall die like our brothers and sisters and children are dying,” the news agency quoted the e-mail as saying.
Police said they were aware of the e-mail, which had also been addressed to Sweden’s security police, but couldn’t immediately confirm a link to the explosions.
Two people were taken to the hospital with light injuries. It was not immediately clear in which explosion they were hurt.
Rescue services spokesman Roger Sverndal said the car that exploded contained gas canisters.
Gabriel Gabiro, a former AP staffer, heard the second explosion from inside a watch store across the street and saw smoke coming from the area where the man was lying.
“There was a man lying on the ground with blood coming out in the area of his belly, and with his personal belongings scattered around him,” he said.
“The man apparently had canisters on him and shouted in Arabic before the blast. What a dead giveaway that it was a MOSSAD operative.”
You’re jumping to conclusions. It was clearly the Amish again.
“I’m worried about a backlash. I do hope that their version of Eric Holder will be quick to allay the fears of the Muslim community, as he has been quick to do in this country. Let’s not forget what’s important in all this.”
You’re assuming the religion of peace had anything to do with this, when this has Amish written all over it.
There was a man lying on the ground with blood coming out in the area of his belly”
Lutefish gas explosion!
Like his spleen, bladder, "jewels"....
Don’t be so sure...

Hey, all you new Congressmen, take a good look at America’s future of car bombings and Muslim acts of terrorism.
You could prevent this from happening if you love your country, or you can sit on your butts, stick your heads in the sand, like previous politicians have done, and pretend that we will be free fom terrorism because we treat Muslims with the respect they deserve.
Dream on.
LOL!
Or maybe even Nazi Pelosi Look-Alikes!
Oh? Was a horse and buggy seen in the area before the blast? I live in Amish country and I say they had nothing to do with it. The Mennonites, on the other hand, are a different story. You've got to watch out for them.
Well, living as close as I do to FT Hood, I would say we have already had enough, to say nothing of 9/11.........
