Seems to have worked so far towards what goal?
Making sure your daughter remains single and dependent on you her whole life?

The question to ask before that one is: At what point during the “meeting” did the guy realize he was about to get his testicles cut off?
Maybe it wasn’t until AFTER he pulled his pants down. Maybe he swings both ways, or used to, and thought he was getting a treat.
To: SatinDoll
I doubt the guys will be lining up to date her after that.
To: Ronin
An absolute solution to the problem. Plus maybe now he’ll have a lovely singing voice!

If a young girl is willing to get into a relationship with someone 40 yrs her senior perhaps she NEEDS someone to be making her decisions.
This is just as creepy as Hugh Hefner these days.

There was a thread a few days ago about old men never losing their interest in having sex. I bet that this one has.

The Bread-Knife Ballad
A little child was sitting Up on her mother’s knee
And down down her cheeks the bitter tears did flow.
And as I sadly listened I heard this tender plea,
‘Twas uttered in a voice so soft and low.
“Not guilty” said the Jury And the Judge said “Set her free,
But remember it must not occur again.
And next time you must listen to you little daughter’s plea,”
Then all the Court did join in this refrain.
Chorus:
“Please Mother don’t stab Father with the BREAD-KNIFE,
Remember ‘twas a gift when you were wed.
But if you must stab Father with the BREAD-KNIFE,
Please Mother use another for the BREAD.”

Not to mention, who in their right mind will want to date/marry this girl in the future? The dad not only ended the man's "love life," but his daughter's [after marriage; I do not advocate pre-marital sex] as well. Very valid point. A girl I know was dating a guy who her parents didn't like. So her mom shot the guy (she went to prison for the murder). I don't think she's had a real date since. Everyone is afraid of her (I know I am)

Castration will not prevent a male from attaining an erection when aroused. It will stop the transfer of sperm to the womb thereby preventing pregnancy.

The things you learn on Free Republic! Why did the father castrate the man, then? To prevent his own grandchildren, or just to send him a very painful message?
