Predicting 17 degrees on the Mississippi Gulf Coast tonight and we're still a week away from winter.
I can’t seem to find this movie screening (now, or the next few weeks) anywhere in the greater L.A. area. My guess is that it’s screening at just one (or a few) theaters in 2010, for film-awards eligibility in year 2010, and won’t get a regular art-house-circuit release until early 2011.
I’d like to be able to support it.
I’ll bet the producer isn’t awarded a Nobel prize.

Wait a minute...
When did the case get made that man made global warming, or any kind of global warming for that matter, is really happening? When did it stop being about global wealth redistribution?
If global warming can be proven, shouldn’t we discuss whether a little global warming is perhaps a good thing, useful for increasing farm and forest lands while staving off the next ice age? (Something we DO know a bit about from science and history...)

He starts with the premise that AWG is real. After that, he makes some interesting and valid points - the kind of discussion that should have taken place years ago.
I haven’t seen the movie. I have seen him on CSPAN a couple of times and he has a web site. I might see the movie over the holidays.
I think you are misunderstanding Bjorn Lomborg’s point. Although he doesn’t dispute that there’s a (small) amount of global warming, and that human activity contributes a (very tiny) part to that, he OPPOSES all of these socialist measures (Kyoto, Cap and Tax, etc.) meant to combat it because (as he explains), it’s much, much cheaper to simply adapt. “Cool It” is an admonition directed at the Leftists, and that’s why they hate him.
I understand completely where he is going, and what he is doing. I also say watch how quickly he gets co opted by the same radical leftists.
