Did anyone, who is watching the game, see Bretts hand? It is purple. Not a bruise like purple, but a lack of circulation purple.

They said when he holds the ball, he can't feel it. He may have life time damage to those nerves.

If your not watching the game, you aren't missing a thing (unless your a Giants fan). The Vikings Suck!!! I am saying this as a lifetime Viking fan.

The only thing that makes this game bearable is that it makes it a little bit harder for the Packers to see the post season (I hate the Packers more than I love the Vikings).

I saw that. It didn’t look good. you wonder how much of his arm looks like his hand. However, it does match the color of the Viking jersey.

Brett should never have come back. An injury like this could be a life-altering deal. Not in a dreadful way but in the way he did things prior to the injury. He may have a painful life after the injury. He may have some semi-permanant numbness in his arm and hand. I have never seen anything like that.

He should be place on injured reserve so that the possibility of him going back onto the field and risk further injury is removed. He has done his bit. After 24+ years of high school, college, and pro ball, he’s earned that rest. He should be old enough to finaly realize that if he gets hit one more time, that hit could be more costly than his last one. The last one was a warning. He should heed that warning. Pass the baton to the new guy and do so gracefully.
