Unless the legal authorities decide to prosecute for murder, you will have to resort to continued wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Just does your mother dying have to do with a first grader trying to put his teacher into a hospital with a cracked skull and his scumbag mother laughing and bragging about her “little darling” and what he did? Are you the little thug’s mother or what? I’m just sure he’s turned his life around and is now a model student. Did I express myself that badly? My point was that when we're in the most pain, some of us will do anything to avoid dealing with it, even laughing. I was using my experience when my mom died as an example. No I'm not related.
