Certainly slavery was a horrid institution, but if you believe that slavery has anything to do with the current state of blacks in America, you're of the type of mindset that can justify reparations.
I would proffer that the dysfunction in much of the black community is more the result of LBJ's great society than anything else.

I said we need to deal with it like adults. I am vehemently opposed to reparations for any number of reasons. I think blacks in this country are pampered and indulged far too much. I agree, the Great Society was a disaster for America and for black America particularly.
