This Gould kid seems to be in it only for the money. Read about his past—very sketchy. He is not a historian by any means. I find it suspect that for a few years he was a neo-nazi skinhead memorabilia collector but now, all of a sudden, he’s a hippie avenging ancestors in the Ukraine who somehow managed to unearth someone that real historians [and Mossad!] missed all these years?

Sure. Sounds like another “Hitler diaries” case to me.

That explanation makes a lot of sense, and puts my mind at ease at least to a degree. Thanks for posting.

My guess was that he got off through some deal like we had with Werner Von Braun, but now it doesn’t seem that way. Thanks for the info.

I was stationed in Berlin from 84-88. The building this meeting was held in was confiscated by the Americans after WW2 and eventually wound up as a recreation area for American soldiers. Had a swimming pool and was home to the US Forces Berlin Yacht Club. My family and I used the facility several times.
