Fort Bliss has a training facility, but other functions as well. Fort Huachuca has Military Intelligence and the Signal Brigade. The original purpose of these forts was to secure our border with Mexico; Fort Huachua also functioned as a counter to the Indian threat.
These days there’s illegal alien trails all over the base.
